How do I sign up for courses?

Go to our website at www.dentassist.com.Click on dental continuing education online. Click ‘REGISTER NOW’. Register your information. Click ‘Register’ at the bottom of the page. Make sure you write down your username and password for future reference. This will take you to your main continuing education page. You can purchase courses and take your tests, view your testing history and manage your account information (Edit Profile). To purchase CE online courses, check the courses you would like to buy and click the ‘Purchase’ button at the bottom of the page. This will take you to the Purchase Courses page. The courses you have selected to purchase and the total amount will be listed. Fill out the credit card information and click the ‘Purchase’ button at the bottom of the page. Your purchase will be complete. Click ‘Return to Main Account’ and you will be on your main continuing education page. You can then View/Print curriculum and Take the Test or you can logout and come back at your convenience after you enter your username and password in the Member Login. What are the hours of operation for dentassist? dentassist is available between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, PST. Any emails or telephone communication received during non-business hours will be responded to the following business day. dentassist.com is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to purchase CE online courses, download course material, read course material and to take your tests.

Click on Click here and a page will open where you enter your username and we will send an email to your registered address with your password. You can manage your account information and edit your profile by clicking on the ‘Edit Profile” link. You can edit your profile/information. Make sure you click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the page.

I have not received an email with confirmation of my purchase order?

An email with confirmation of your purchase is immediately sent when your order is complete. Please make sure you check both your regular and spam (bulk) mail folders. If you have not received an email confirmation of your purchase order you may want to contact us to verify your username and/or password was entered correctly upon registration.

What are my payment options for purchasing online CE courses?

You may purchase your CE courses online by credit card. VISA and MasterCard are accepted. Our Web site will direct you to Authorize.Net, our payment gateway service. You credit card is charged immediately after you click “confirm order” during the checkout process in Authorize.Net. You may also contact our office during business hour and we can debit your credit card payment over the phone.

Is there a time limit for completing courses after purchase?

No. Your CE online course purchases will stay in your account until you ‘Take Test’ at which time you will receive a CE course completion certificate for your records.

When will I receive the CE course completion certificate?

You will receive the CE course completion certificate by email in your registered address the next business day after you ‘Take Test’. The course will be dated the date you took and passed the test.You need to print the certificate and keep it for your records.

What is a passing grade for an exam?

You must pass the test with a score of 70% or higher. If you do not receive a passing grade you may retake the test at no charge one more time. Contact our office by email or telephone to request a test retake.

How long do you keep CE course completion records and certificates?

We keep your CE course completion records for at least ten years after the completion date. You may request a copy of your CE certificate by email request or a telephone call.

Do I have to finish a course once I start it?

No. You do not have to finish a course once you start it. You may read a course online as many times as you wish or download and print a curriculum to read at your convenience.

Do I have to finish a test once I start it?

No. You do not have to finish a test once you start it. You can only take this test one time, so be careful to answer all questions as correctly as possible. If you are not ready to take the test after starting, click the ‘Cancel’ button at the bottom to return to your main account without taking the test. After answering all the questions you can click the ‘Score Test’ button at the bottom. Your test score will appear immediately.

Can I receive a refund if I am not satisfied with the course?

Yes. You may request a refund within 30 days of submitting your order. Refunds will be granted only for tests that have not been submitted via online, mail, or fax.

Will the courses offered by dentassist.com online fulfill my requirements for state re-licensure?

dentassist is an ADA CERP recognized provider and a Dental Board of California Registered Provider, # RP3556. Continuing education credits issued for CE course completion may not apply toward license renewal in all the state licensing jurisdictions. It is the responsibility of the licensee to verify the state CE requirements of your licensing or regulatory agency. However, most, if not all states and many countries recognize ADA CERP recognized providers for CE requirement license renewal.
